Highland awarded a $46.7 Million DOE contract

Gaithersburg Md.—Highland Technology Services Inc. (Highland) announced that the Department of Energy, Office of Health, Safety and Security (HSS) awarded Highland a contract for 2 base years and 3 option years, with a total contract value of $47.7 Million. Chris Smith, Vice President of Project Operations and Business Development for the company stated "I am excited to announce that, on April 29, 2011we were awarded the DOE HSS opportunity. This is the largest single contract award ever received by Highland. This will open up a lot of opportunities for us in the future. Our team was led by Robert M. Carbo President and CEO of Highland with support from other Highland staff members and staff from our teaming partners IST, BAH and Triton FSI. It was through Highland's dedication, high quality work and ability to support our customers that made this possible.
